We often hear about the great things that God does and how he loves us so much that he would do anything for us. Could it be possible that he believes in us so much that He’d stop the world just for us?
Your dreams matter. Your drive matters. And your purpose matters! Lately the world, including you, have been so busy keeping up with things of the world that we tend to lose sight of our own very purpose and being. If you’re like me, I’ve often said to myself, “I want to do this or that but I’m so busy it would take an act of God to slow me down.”
Well guess what? God has stepped in and paused the world for you. Yes you! Now that we are in the midst of a world pandemic, it has forced many to stay in their homes and we are limited to the amount of everyday resources that we are accustomed to doing. This is the perfect time to do something that you haven’t had time to do when the world was so “busy”.
If you haven’t done so, make a list of things that you’d like to do and get started! It doesn’t have to be done in one day, but every single item that you check off of your list will bring you a refreshing amount of peace.
I’ve compiled a small list of things to give you a little inspiration and head start to making your own list.
Relax.
Read a Book.
Spring clean your home.
Finish a project that you started long ago.
Spend time with family, making memories.
Learn something new.
Watch a movie at home.
Take time to meditate.
Take a longer bath.
Rest. It’s ok to sleep in longer or take a mid-day nap.
Come up with a new business idea.
Mail an appreciation or thinking of you card to someone.
Add exercise or yoga to your day.
Sit outside and take in some fresh air.
Dance around the house.
Find things to make you laugh.
Cook or bake something.
Self-care.
Read and Study the Bible.
Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.
These are all things that you may have put off because you were so busy doing other things for either work or other people, but now is the time to take care of you. After all, God has paused the world just for you!
