One of the most amazing things that I love about knowing your purpose and understanding your own journey is knowing that you have a direct relationship with God. When HE speaks, I listen; and when I speak, I know that He listens to me.
When God whispers to you, then it is His guidance who you should follow not man. We are all here on earth collectively to serve within Gods kingdom and work together for His purpose.
Often times people stay in a certain position of power for so long that they feel like THEIR way is the only way. And because they have a familiar name or face, then people often look to them and trust that they are leading them in the right path. They tend to go to that person first before going to God, ultimately shifting from pleasing God to pleasing man.
This is why it is so imperative that we have our own relationship with God and follow YOUR set purpose in life. Now, not everyone knows what their purpose is, but the solution to that it so simple. If you simply take time to press pause in your every day lives to spend time in prayer and meditation and ask God to show you your purpose, then He will do just that.
We often spend so much time making sure that our friends, family, churches, community organizations, and employers’ purposes are met daily, but what about your purpose?
I challenge you to take a little time to reflect and carve out some time to not only do self-check, but also do a purpose-check. Why? Because you are worth it.
